Malvern

We went to Malvern today where they were holding the Great Malvern Food Festival in the grounds of Malvern Priory. We met Emma and Andy there, Andy's mum was singing in the choir on the BBC Stage, hosted by BBC Hereford & Worcester.  Pat sings in the Worcester Rock Choir, part of a nationwide collection of contemporary singing members numbering twenty thousand, see web site  The choir singing at Malvern today was about 100 strong, see extra where they were just setting up, and sounded great.  Luckily their set finished before the rain started. Pat is the lady on the left.

We had a good lunch from the vegan falafel stall then retired to a local Nero for coffee.

Later in the afternoon I took a look round the inside of the priory whilst Ann went for a little walk up a hill, Malvern is full of hills.  The second extra is one of the more modern stain glass windows.
