'We shall fight them, on the beaches'

Well, not quite. This beach is on the isle if grain, on it's Medway coastline. The Martello Tower in the background sits at the entrance to the Thames and would have been manned in the war as a lookout and to suspend submarine nets from.

I was down on one of our deep water jetties today and hadn't seen this particular view before. The weather was glorious today and the water was looking very temping!
