Handicap

The Harriers handicap tonight was on the six-mile course so needs more marshalls. I was far from being in a state to run it - unlike some of my clubmates who ran full or half marathons on Sunday - so I helped to stop traffic where the route crosses the access to a housing estate. Although it was sunny, my "post" was in shade and the wind was cold. Tonight's carry-out special biriyani tastes extra good!
