Gertrude

When we had the garden re-designed and planted up, we planted a pink rose against the back wall. It was not a good doer - a single flowering with petals which fell with the least bit of wind or rain, and no discernible perfume. It had to go. It was replaced by "Gertrude Jekyll" which is  already earning its keep!
