Roll out the red carpet for the bairns!

The Quayside is a bit upside down at the minute! Saturday sees the Junior Great North Run and a track is being built. I am extremely concerned as it's 4 feet off the ground and someone might fall off!

Then on Sunday, it's the Great North Run, which I may watch on TV.

And to top it all, there's a gigantic tent in the car park next to the Sage full of pasta!

What on earth is going on?

Had a nice pic of a glass of wine in a pub, but chose this one instead. Will go back tomorrow to catch the light in the glass!
