Barley

T cut the grass for silage a day ago but there was rain yesterday so N is out spreading the grass to dry today before the contracting team move in tomorrow to bring it all in to the silage clamp.

Everything is growing like mad now after the warm and wet weather.  Here the barley is green and straight thrusting up towards the sky before it changes colour.

The extra photo is of B's pigs which have been put on a plot of overgrowth below the Dutch barn.  They really enjoy it outside in this muggy weather and are clearing the ground really well.
