Today was our last day at the field station. We had to sort out some loose ends. As always when you start to look carefully you find more problems: well, in this case they were hard to miss. It turned out that there was some communication problem between one of the spectrometers and the newer version of the raspberry pi (we hadn't even noticed it was a different model). Bah, more work required. All in all the trip was very successful and everyone is happy. I'll need to sort through the huge pile of photos when I am home.

I went for another walk into town. Ended up watching the trains. The train line was very busy. Just loved it when the long freight trains slowly pulled out of the station.
