Dog Rose Bugged

Mrs W noticed that the self seeded bramble that had appeared in the field next to us was in fact a dog rose.  Grabbing the moment and the 7D I nipped out to capture a shot for Flower Friday – pity it’s Thursday . . . (poor old chap, this is not the first time either!!).
 
While I was taking umpteen shots in the hope that one would be in focus this bug turned up – well you just have to, don’t you?
 
At extra is the answer to yesterday’s ‘Hairy Doormat’ experiment.  Slugs 25, baby hedgehogs 1 (not to mention the snails!!).  Back to the drawing board . . .
