The Ness, Shaldon

Home of Henry Forbes Julian, in the 1890s. He was a mining engineer and metallurgist, educated in Bolton. He later moved to Torquay and sadly perished in the Titanic.

Now it is a small hotel, pub and restaurant with fine views of Teignmouth.

Celebratory lunch here with mother in law and her sisters. Badger beer.
