Long drive home

We arrived home last night after a long drive home.  We left Nakhon Phanom on Wednesday and stayed the night in Udon Thani, see my back blip of a tuk tuk.  The hotel we stayed in was the same one we used going and the wifi was not working properly,  my charging plug got very hot very quickly so I had to close down.  Anyway we found a nice Italian Restaurant for dinner.  The owner was actually from Lucerne.  We ended up buying a case of wine from him, yes it is imported from Italy and he did give us a good price, although the bill for the night went up a bit.  Anyway we left our hotel fairly early and stopped for breakfast along the way.  This shot shows part of the road, its a very rich agriculture area so very flat but we were heading towards those distant mountains.
