It's nice

to see some of the winter flowering annuals and bulbs coming into flower. Everything looks so drab without some colour around and the humble pansy always look so bright and cheerful. The petals on this one are very delicate, and quite transparent, almost like parchment.  
The forecast doesn't look as bad for the long weekend as it did a few days away so fingers crossed it will be reasonable for all those heading away.
