Focusing on the 'ugly' as well as the 'beautiful' side of the world, the movie Samsara is well worth seeing if you get the chance. From Ethiopian tribes and Tibetan monks to modern factory farming and urban living, there are some fascinating juxtapositions and contrasts. All beautifully photographed and, whilst not all are as profound as I'm sure the filmmaker thinks they are, there's certainly plenty to admire.
