Selfie

No flower for Friday, but instead a self-portrait.

I attended a self-portrait workshop today in my local Arts Centre, from 10:30am - 3:30pm. Our teacher took a photo of everyone and we were instructed to draw from that, rather than from life. We didn't actually get a chance to put pencil to paper until 1:30pm, when I was impatient to get going! Our teacher encouraged the use of a light pencil (unusually) so it's quite hard to make out the result! My drawing is not quite finished yet, I think I'll work on it a bit more, but I was dying to use charcoal! Maybe now I have it home I can be a bit bolder.... :)
