Potato Flower

A lovely day for walking and gardening ...... sunny but with a bit of a breeze .... ideal conditions for me.

I don't grow any veggies but I do enjoy walking through the vegetable garden in Pollok Park. Plenty of green foliage appearing. I wasn't expecting to see any flowers but just at the end of the potato bed I saw this lovely purple flower and it was only when I saw the photo on the screen that I spotted the little black ant.

My Weigela bushes were needing a bit of a hair cut so armed with my secateurs and garden bucket I set to ... if I'd been 6 inches taller the task would have been so much easier.
