International Rescue

There is a blast from the past!  

Rescued this little robin which had dived bombed into the conservatory and was sitting very still on the floor. Called off the dogs who were very interested and picked it up, cradled it and believe me it wasn't looking quite the ticket. Every time it's eyes closed I gave it a  wake up call, then eventually popped it onto the shrub and still kept nudging it. Feeling proud as it winged off in the end.

There have been numerous commotions outside and you know mainly it's the magpies with their predatory nature. They have just raided the blackbird nest outside the lounge window which I am sad about as there were loads of chicks and now the nest is empty!

Busy day but now it's drizzling outside which means it's a bit miserable out there. Have a great weekend everyone!!
