Croome

Our second day in the Malvern area. Having got slightly sun kissed yesterday, we appreciated a bit less sunshine today.

I (Chris) started the day with a tour at the Morgan cars factory. Fascinating to get so close to the production line and see these handcrafted cars being assembled. Nothing like a production line you'd see in most other car plants these days. The tour is well worth it, I even managed to bag an offcut of laminated ash wheel arch from one of the guys in the woodshop. One in the extras showing a few of the cars.

After the tour I joined the others who had headed over to Croome to the Capability Brown designed house and landscape. Croome Court is the centrepiece and inside the house there were displays telling the interesting history of the property which is now leased to the National Trust. Despite a few spots of rain, we had a good walk around the grounds and house.

A lovely pub meal out tonight.
