Sunny saturday

The storms of yesterday were very welcome although we seemed to escape the worst of the rain! Just enough to keep my garden well watered is enough for me!

Still feeling muggy today and the sun is shining again so have had a good little potter around the garden pruning roses, finding snail hideouts and enjoying the flowers! Another poppy appeared in the border today out of nowhere - thank you nature!!

Have enjoyed some time reading in the sunshine today and got to read Meet Me at the Lighthouse by Mary Jayne Baker - out at the end of June and I can highly recommend it! I now want to buy myself a lighthouse!!
