The Morning Light

First time I've been up and out early enough to catch that early sunlight shining in from the East. On the way to work I stopped at Castlerigg, it was either that or Catbells but by the time I reached the stone circle the light had almost gone, Cumbrian helm.

For this shot I contrasted the sky, the distant fells and the foreground all using layer masks and curves to separate the contrast between each.
