Meet Morris

Such a lovely day. Last night we ventured to a nearby village for an am-dram production which was so bad it was good ( ham acting, forgotten lines and falling props for example) and a supper included served by the cast! Then we went this morning to the local pub to see Morris dancing. We are close to Thaxted, the founding village of the Morris men circle who host an annual festival. Groups from all over the country arrive and then go out on tour to local pubs throughout the day before a massed festival in Thaxted in the evening. This group above were from Eastbourne. The festival tonight was something else. A perfect English summer's evening. Before some idiots spoiled it.......
