Banded-Demoiselle

This morning I took a walk along the river banks in search of a blip. While walking along the cycle track I spotted a flash of blue fly past me see extra. I thought what was that as I didn't know of any blue butterflies so went in search where I had seen it go. When I caught up with it i realised it was some type of damselfly. I took a few shot most of which was not to sharp. It then flew off while following it I came across the female which is my main blip as I managed to get a lovely clear sharp shot of her. I would have loved to have got a shot of him with his wings open as it is so beautiful. I have posted a few more shots HERE.
