The finished drum

Wow, what a busy day today! Feel like I haven't had a minute to sit down and rest!

Raced home from church to finish the drum cake. And I'm really pleased with the result. The colours were customised to the birthday boy's dragon boat team, the Sea Cucumbers. A lot of the paddlers were at the party too and loved the cake :).

Extra picture shows the cake after it had sweat a bit, that usually brightens the colours! Pleased to say it was a huge hit!

P.S. Jon helped me with the rivets/tacks! They took forever to make!!!
