Sad news

Got the shocking and tragic news yesterday evening of the sudden and untimely death of our Vice-Chancellor Prof Patrick Johnston.

So it has to be a mono today.

3-hour morning training session for staff members with better knowledge of Chinese language and culture; 2 -hour afternoon special session to prepare a group of students going to attend a summer exchange programme before their departure for China - all fitting the internationalisation strategy to achieve Queen's Vision 2020 that was led by Prof Johnston.
