Dappled

Today I have been training on the bike under persistent torrential rain. I was soaked to the skin but still smiling, I just love riding bikes. The day ended with an hour out on the city roads...so much traffic, so many lanes and traffic lights every 10ft. Bonkers! 

I am back at my accommodation, finally dry and have no inclination to do anything except stay indoors and stay dry. My bedroom has this lovely light that casts a dapple effect and makes me feel like I'm in a forest on a sunny day. 

Apparently this rain has been covering Orkney also and Gorgeous and the woofers also got a soaking today.
