Davy Lamp

Another day of continuous rain - and today we  stayed at home.
This is a genuine Type 6 miner's lamp made by The Protector Lamp and Lighting Co. Ltd of Eccles.  It's never been used.
Amazingly the company is still in business and you can get spares for these lamps if you need to.
Tomorrow's weather forecast looks a little better - then back to rain :-(
