BEFORE THE STEAM...

Back to the grindstone.

A lovely old National Steel guitar came in needing a neck re-set, a re-fret & a new cone... In a steel guitar, the resonator is a very fragile aluminium cone which sits in the hole in the table & supports the bridge.

The owner was a bit shocked to learn the price of the restoration but then he's bought an instrument worth €2,500 for a mere €50.

AFTER THE STEAM - extra...
