There were BBC film crews and all sorts of demonstrations to celebrate this event.
Weather was chilly and sunny, couple of showers but it didn't stop everyone enjoying themselves.
My work colleague from computing days is a new addition to the lifeboat crew, it was lovely meeting him again with his partner and children.
