Winter picnic

Make hay while the sun shines or if it is too late for hay, go somewhere nice and have a picnic. We haven't got cows, don't need the hay, picnic it was.
We packed our little car (the big one is now long gone and a replacement nowhere in sight) and with Google Maps in hand went for a long drive to Mount Crawford. It was a fresh day, but once we arrived to the forest, the sun was lovely and made the day. We met up with some friends and had the fire going, lots of delicious food and even saw two kangaroos.
