What we know so far.

Having spent most of the day at the vets having blood tests, scans and x rays, we now know that George has two unnatural curves in his trachea, one at the throat and one at the lung end, he has fluid in his lungs and an enlarged heart. This suggests heart failure, and the vet has made an appointment for him to have an echocardiogram at the vet hospital in La Rochelle on Friday, then she will start him on treatment.
He also has a smart new harness, as he's not allowed to wear a collar any more, but it's black and so is he, so difficult to see in the photo!
We're just home for a quick cuppa, then I'm taking Mr F to the hospital in Saintes as he's having an operation on his knee tomorrow!
