Finland the land of the thousand lakes, to be precis 187 888 lakes. So boats and ships are quite common in here. I don't own a boat, but it has been estimated that 1/7 Finns own some kind of boat (737,500 boats + all the ships that cruise on the lakes and sea). So it is quite obvious that cultural blip of transportation in Finland has to be a rowing boat, little bit of lake and birches. .
