My Performer

We were up even earlier than a week day.  We had to deck Sugar out in makeup and hair....and get to the theater in time for pictures.  Topaz and I hung out in the Jeep reading a book to pass the time.  Then it was show time.  Topaz stayed in the Jeep...and worried about him, but he did fine the entire time.  Slept the day away.

Sugar's recital went well for her.  She felt really proud of her dances, and she did her very best.  It is always a joy to see her face light up on stage.  When I asked her if she was glad it was over, she surprised me by saying, "No!"  I think she is really starting to love the performing part of the process.

We grabbed some food on the way home, and then spent the late afternoon and evening loving on our baby Topaz.  We put together the Kitty tower/condo we purchased for him (trying to save the curtains and furniture.)  Then we introduced him to the baby bunnies.  Oh how he loves to snuggle up with them...but they don't want to play the way kittens play.  Please see the extra photo of Topaz and his new buddies.
