Safe Hands

Usual walk around St Ives had a different ending today

Upon arrival at the Coppice Pond feeding station - the ladies noticed that one of the cygnets had fish wire dangling from its mouth - WilsdenWalker managed to get the cygnet out of the water - to discover the wire had gone down its throat and couldn't be dislodged

D's phone call to a local vet resulted in D and WilsdenWalker taking it to his surgery

Half an hour later - the cygnet - minus fishing wire - was reunited with his parents and five siblings - thanks to all those pairs of safe hands
