Disastrous times

Wow, what is happening.
Huge storms in Cape Town causing massive destruction.
Massive fires in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay......the beautiful tourist destination, and where we got married, has had huge areas destroyed by fire. If you don't know Knysna, google it - it is a most beautiful place.
And now, again, our village is under threat - massive fires, deliberately lit, are raging. Fortunately the strong winds are moving the flames away from our village.
We have been packing food and clothing parcels to send to Knysna, and there is a plea for people to help rescue animals in our area.
What is happening -why are people lighting these fires...a sign of the anger and uncertainty in our country.
One arsonist has been caught here, another still at large. The firefighters are exhausted - our villagers are taking food and drinks to them - a long night is ahead.
I don't even know if my photo is a beautiful sunset or a reflection of the flames......
