Bailey at a polling station

A full night's sleep last night meant that the alarm woke me and not a wind-blown gate or rain. Although the weather played its part on my duty day with a wet lunch and then a very warm bus duty. I got quite a lot done today and had time at the end of it to clear the decks a little bit.

Home to collect Bailey and the official Bailey sitter. It was her first ever vote being 4 days into her 18th year. Bailey had to come too so that he could be a dog at a polling station. We thought we might have to vote one at a time whilst keeping an eye on him but they were happy to have him in the 'polling station'. It has reverted to the porch of a bungalow having been in the kitchen of one around the corner for the EU Referundum. Slightly surreal but Bailey got a good welcome and a bit of fuss and he was fairly co-operative with the obligatory shot.
