Too darn hot (1)

As the forecast was good for Thursday and Friday we decided to try and mop up some of the hills we hadn’t seen the view from. We left Edinburgh early and headed for Loch Quoich where we wanted to go up Sgurr a'Mhaoraich. We parked by the loch, and went up the stalker’s track that winds up the south east ridge of Sgurr a'Mhaoraich. It makes it gaining height easy and thank goodness, as it was very hot. We got to the top after 5 and the view west was terrific. The blip shows Loch Hourn with Skye in the background. The extra is the view north along the impressive steeply dipping metamorphic rocks at the summit. Three more ticks done.

Yesterday’s blip.
