Not Abstract Thursday

I  always look forward to participating in Abstract Thursday, but the Hawk asterisk on the Heron rule applies to this photo---and I haven't the heart to abstract this lovely creature today.....I am thinking of my friend, Karen, and that old hymn "I'll Fly Away"......Love the memories we made together!
