Rydal Cave Walk

Today started very very wet so we headed straight to Rydal Mount Tearoom for a hot chocolate with cream, flake and marshmallows (calories do not count on holiday). It was delicious!

We then went into the woods and started our photography. The fast flowing river has been certainly topped up this week (see extra photos). 

We got absolutely soaked so we thought why not walk to Rydal Cave as we can't get much wetter than we already are. 

When we reached the cave we stopped for a spot of lunch and then spent about 2 hours in the cave photographing the amazing reflections in the water. 

Once the rain gave way we walked down to the lake and took some more photos. 

In the evening 6 of us went to a lovely Indian restaurant in Keswick. Lovely food. Then as a group we spent the rest of the evening reviewing our photos of the day. 

Another great day/evening. So much laughter.....
