FlowerFriday 9: Carolina Wild Petunia

Ruellia caroliniensis  is a sweet little flowering plant native to Florida. Since the rains have finally started, they are popping up all over the yard, many by the pond and bog. This shot was taken using an app called 'light table' on my iPad Mini. I'm seriously considering a full size Light Table, but thought that I'd try out this $5.00 one from the AppStore.
