Flowers have Many Functions

Today they were being used to hang onto by new Marbled Whites as they hatched (see extra for the previous stage). There are so many of these butterflies in the fields at the moment. Maybe this qualifies for Flower Friday Anni? Thanks for continuing do do that, makes me play with macro much more. Perfect at the moment.

Our lovely friends left this afternoon. Can you imagine, I have known Joan for nearly 60 years, she is a bit like the Wikipedia of my youngest years. It is amazing how she remembers people and situations. Should I get worried that I can't?
