Potfest, Scone

Today was to be a pleasant day out with friends A and L visiting Potfest, one of several ceramic festivals held in the U.K. The Scottish version is held in the beautiful setting of the grounds of Scone Palace. However, the forecast hadn't predicted the horrendous wet weather that we experienced and we were all drenched.

This lady was demonstrating her skill with a kick wheel as there is no electricity in the tents. I did buy a little vase which I saw at one of the stalls but as you can see from the extra I managed to drop it when I was getting out of the car on the way to lunch!

The peacocks that roam the grounds got pretty wet too!
