HERE COMES THE NEXT GENERATION

I went to the country park for a break from all the excitement (the fact they have an excellent café had nothing to do with it, honest). I spread some bird food around a bench and sat very quietly and was soon surrounded by bird families - parents and offspring. Here are chaffinches (above) and nuthatches. There were lots of others, as well as other feathery families around the rest of the park. And I admit to treating myself to some cake to celebrate the thwarting of the press barons.
