Fading Dogwood

The dogwood petals are beginning to fall, making the flowers even more beautiful. I love the gentle streak of pink. The whole thing reminds me of faded fabric from the 1930s, printed with lovely magnolia blossoms. And, lucky me, it's Flower Friday!

Gophers are still at work, and the house painter starts on Monday--just a couple of updates to keep me anchored.
