Through the arch

Half day today - thank goodness, and I went for a little trip to St Peter's church in  Hascombe in  Surrey. 
I don't know why I haven't visited this beautiful village church before, because it is stunning! the whole of the interior is painted (see extra one of the amazing chancel arch). The interior walls are also painted  depicting the disciples fishing .....with a pattern of nets and fish around the whole church (see extra 2), just so beautiful....
My main shot is the church as you first see it , through the wonderful yew lych gate, well worth a visit if you are ever in that direction.
