As so often is the case, looking to the past can guide you into the future.

A rummage through the Cigsarchive today. (There was only so much meet and greet you can do at the polling stations) 

Neil Oliver has been in touch and has a plan for a Cigs through the Ages series on Channel 4 early in 2018. I said I would only take part if he got a haircut and a new man bag. His agent seemed less than optimistic but we'll see. If he wants the show to go ahead, he will need to find a barber.

This one dates from Pedal on Parliament 2014. We took a roundabout route homewards, trying to avoid any hills - no mean feat when trying to get to Greater Granton, and with the help of internet mapping soft ware, the path of least ascent was up here and then back down McDonald Road.

White pen, black bin, undated, but Neil's team assured me they can narrow the date down to within hours of when it was done. I await the results with interest.
