Come on!

Oh come on, stop taking taking photos and get on with my walk! At least that's what I imagine Jasper's thinking when I keep stopping and getting my camera out.

It was a rather short walk though, because I hardly slept last night for some reason and so didn't have much energy. Then off to the tip with the car absolutely full of rubbish of one sort or another and onto the village house.

I went straight to one of the bars to meet up with my Swiss friend E and half a dozen other women from the village, and we had half an hour of chat... at which point I felt a whole lot more wide awake and positive about the day. E likes to practise her English, I like to practise my Catalan, and I may pick up some Spanish along the way because the village women use it to communicate with E.

Then the market for fruit and veg and the bread shop for ...bread! After lunch maybe we'll see if some English friends are in and go and see them for a couple of hours. I hope so anyway.

I think autumn is on it's way as the wind has been blowing from the west for the last few days, something it's done rarely through the summer. So it's a good deal cooler and jeans and a cardigan are needed, but that's fine with me!
