Samsara and chicken soup.

Yoh .. it's been a really tough few weeks on so many levels.  Yet my own challenges disappear into insignificance when I see the devastation being caused by the fires along in the Garden Route.  Fires have wreaked so much suffering on entire communities this year. Imizamo Yethu earlier, and now Knysna, Plett as well as George, Sedgefield and much of the coast towards Port Elizabeth. Yet out of this disaster come stories of incredible bravery and generosity of spirit. We South Africans know how to pull together when we need to.
C is home from the hospital and slowly recovering ... I keep telling her it's the homemade chicken soup plus regular hot mugs of lemon, ginger and honey.  Poor kid, who is now covered in a rash had more blood tests done this afternoon... yet she looks brighter and her sense of humour is returning. 
Cadbury, as you will notice from this picture experiences few samsaric challenges!  Yet, as with everything in samsara, there is always some sh.1.t lurking somewhere!
