Most of today was taken up with a boat trip along the Spree river and the canals which run through Berlin's city centre. It's a wonderfully relaxing way to see the sights, but not always easy to photograph them from this angle.

Here are a group of tourists using another form of transport, one I haven't yet tried...they are passing the new Marie-Elisabeth Lüders Building, which is part of the parliament buildings next to the Bundestag.

In the evening I tried some street photography at an African festival in Alexanderplatz and when the crowds got too much, I took the S-Bahn to Wansee and walked along the side of the lake.
