A lazy morning pouring over the papers and pouring maple syrup over the bacon, as requested.
It was late afternoon before we left the house - off to R&E's to watch the footy for starters. Yet another 'must win' game for Scotland. England being unbeaten in their last 34 qualifying games was a slightly intimidating statistic - however there we were - 2-1 up in injury time! Ahem. Scotland need a new script writer.
Then off to Fife to see JY present three acts - Seamus Fogarty, Duke Special and Martin Simpson - all quite different and all very enjoyable. MS is a very fine guitarist who I must listen to a bit more. I really shouldn't make a music posting all about beer but Coors, Budweiser or Guinness? Isn't there a local economy that would benefit - it's a public owned venue after all. I may tweet.
