Though the prospect of yet more radiation treatment looms gloomily ahead, the bonus is a weekly visit to this fab Japanese 'mart' above the car park packed to the gunwales with goodies.
Noodles and nori, beautiful bento boxes, teriyaki marinades and tofu, green tea whisks and matcha every which way....for tea, ice cream and in noodles.

And all so perfectly packaged..and these are just the noodles!
