Peek-a-boo!

Off over to Linlithgow sharp this morning and managed to get parked before the fishermen took over the car park. We are still a bit surprised about the lack of swans, maybe they will return when their cygnets are a bit bigger.
Walking round, we spotted a pair of grebes and I knocked off a few shots. When I looked at them back home I discovered that there was a chick (grebeling?) hitching a ride. Never seen that before, lovely!
We returned home the long way round and took a few photos of the trip of Forth bridges but they didn't come out quite right. So I swung the camera round and snapped the new aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth, currently approaching completion. Impressive!
