My beautiful Mum

Spent much of today with Mum at the care home in South Croydon.  She is currently in a room on the top (third) floor dedicated to 'nursing care' but may move down to the second floor for dementia residents when she gets stronger and the diabetes regime is sorted out satisfactorily.

She is still very weak and hasn't quite regained her smile but we walked up and down the corridor twice which is quite an achievement as she hadn't stood up for the 2 weeks she was in hospital & was only able to crawl on Friday.

James Terry Court is really lovely (extra is of Mum's room) but most importantly the staff seem interested, thoughtful and caring, with concern for us as well as Mum.  It's a huge adjustment but they are making it easier.
